About DJ Pete

My love for music has been with me since childhood.  However, I was focused on playing sports at a young age and missed my opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument.  To fulfill my passion, I turned to playing music created by others.  It started on the beaches of New Jersey with a boom box entertaining friends and continued at college parties mixing with turntables, a cassette player, Amp, speakers, and a Radio Shack mixing board.  Over the years I've entertained audiences at weddings, graduations, and parties.  I've learned what makes a DJ successful is their ability to know their audience, listen and feel the crowd, and change on the fly to exceed their expectations.   Preparation for an event is an important step but the ability to adapt real time is an invaluable skillset.  It’s a challenge, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
